Delete your Evento account

App Store and Google Play require a public URL that explains account deletion. This page is that URL. Deletion itself happens inside the Evento app after you sign in.

How to delete your account in the app

Install Evento on iOS or Android, sign in, then follow these steps.

Open Profile.
Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
Read the confirmation, type DELETE, and confirm.
If you own any organisations, transfer or delete them first. The app will refuse deletion until you do.

What the product currently removes

When deletion succeeds, DELETE /users/me permanently removes: your user profile document; all auth session tokens for your user id (and invalidates access-token allow entries); all device tokens; all in-app notification rows; and all organisation membership rows for your user id.

What the product currently retains

The same deletion path does not delete the following. They may keep a reference to your former user id or payment identifiers:

Event registration and check-in rows (including payment references and amounts).
Saved searches, organisation follows, reports you filed, organisation invites you created, and organisation audit-log entries where you were the actor.
Organisation and event content you created (titles, descriptions, images, venues) while acting for an organisation you no longer own.
Organisation money ledger entries and payout-run records (amounts and payment references; ledger rows are not keyed by user id).
Payment records inside Razorpay for orders and refunds already created.
Files already uploaded to AWS S3 (the deletion API does not delete S3 objects).
OTPs may already have expired via TTL; any still-valid OTP rows for your email or phone are not explicitly deleted in the account-deletion path.

Payment and legal retention note

Payment and ledger data may need to be kept for tax, dispute, or regulatory reasons even after an account is gone.
